Envirocare Pest Control, LLC Case Study
Envirocare Pest Control, LLC

Danielle realized she was spending way too much time at Staples when they knew her by name and started giving her free stuff.

About The Company

Envirocare Pest Control, LLC is locally-owned and operated by husband-and-wife team David and Danielle Bisaillon in Watertown, CT. Starting in 1997 with no customers and just a truck, they have built their business that includes 14 technicians, four office employees, and they are now ready to expand in Connecticut and throughout the Northeast by franchising. They offer general pest control as well as termite, tick, mosquito, and wildlife pest management services to residential and commercial customers.

The Challenge

One of the challenges they were facing was spending too much time scheduling their technicians manually. For example, they would print out their daily schedules on a cover sheet in half-hour increments, manually write the customer’s address, then print a ticket for each service provided. This process took at least eight hours a day. Not only were they wasting time, but they were also wasting paper. How much paper? So much that Danielle was making trips to Staples twice a week. They knew her on a first-name basis, and they even gave her free gifts.

The Solution

Envirocare knew there had to be an easier way, and they were referred to FieldRoutes by a friend in the industry. There were a few reasons they were attracted to FieldRoutes. First, it’s easy to use. Second, their customer database could be easily implemented into the FieldRoutes system. Third, they liked having a mobile version to communicate and send alerts to their technicians while they are out in the field. And last but not least, they could significantly reduce their reliance on paper.

The Impact

Since implementing the FieldRoutes™ operations suite, Envirocare Pest Control, LLC has saved $1,500 - $2,000 per month in paper and office supplies. The office team has gained significant time back in their day since scheduling is as easy as the click of the button. Additionally, their technicians are no longer wasting time calling the office throughout the day since they can send alerts and communicate on the mobile app. Unfortunately for Staples, they lost their No. 1 customer – but maybe that’s a good thing.

Since implementing the FieldRoutes operations suite, Envirocare Pest Control, LLC has:

  • Reduced their reliance on paper

  • No longer has to schedule technicians manually

  • Can easily communicate with their technicians

“I went into the idea of purchasing FieldRoutes with the hope and idea that it would make life easier, and it has fulfilled all of those wishes.”
