Partners using FieldRoutes continue to serve a strong number of households in the United States.
And they continue to excel.
"Business is good," Rubens Basso, the chief technology officer for FieldRoutes, told customers in opening the product roadmap session at IGNITE! on Nov. 8 in Las Vegas.
Basso also highlighted an increase in transactions for FieldRoutes companies, compared with the previous year, and showcased the success of Admiral Pest Control in California and ACTION Termite & Pest Control in Arizona.
"We understand the complexities of things like scheduling and routing, some of the inefficiencies that you may be dealing with, how late payments can affect cash flow, and other challenges," Basso told the FieldRoutes audience. "And we know that the needs of your technicians and crews in the field are different from those of your office employees."
FieldRoutes team members then offered a review of releases during 2023 and a preview of releases to come.
Marketing Pro. FieldRoutes has introduced integration with ServiceTitan Marketing Pro, which creates highly targeted, effective email and direct mail campaigns that put the right message in front of the right customers at the right time. FieldRoutes customers are experiencing strong open and click-through rates, average revenue per email, and connections with their audiences.
Sales Leaderboards. Creating sales competition has been extended to the FieldRoutes® Mobile app.
Standardized Discounts. FieldRoutes customers are now able to enter discounts as percentages; set up standard, company-wide discounts; and establish expiration for discounts.
Prepayments. The feature introduced early in 2023 allows a company to offer customers a discount and/or upsell on services in exchange for paying the entirety of the service plan up front. That means more financial stability for the company, and customers can save money by paying up front.
Dynamic Pricing. An improvement for lawn and landscape companies includes providing the ability to create customer estimating units, more flexibility with pricing tables, multiple pricing categories in a service, and mobile capabilities for selling new and modifying existing services.
Recommendations. This update allows technicians in the field to recommend additional services when they're resolving issues on site.
Bundles. Customers will be able to buy bundled services that won't need to be managed as separate subscriptions. Companies also will be able to schedule multiple services in a single appointment.
Renewals. Watch for updates in functionality regarding automation of renewals, including what pushes the renewal date, exposing the renewal history in the customer card, and boosting insights found in the renewal report.
Convenience Payments. This tool will allow for creating payment change schedules that are independent from the subscriptions billing frequency. Companies that use the accrual accounting method will be able to offer flexible, automated payments.
